A light interior.
Textured accents.
This apartment combines light furniture fronts, warm timber, textiles and an expressive stone texture. The plan covers the entrance, kitchen-living room, bathroom, bedroom, wardrobe and child’s room.
Entrance and kitchen
One composition
from door to kitchen.
The entrance and kitchen form the first route through the apartment, so storage and work surfaces need to be integrated quietly.
Design response
The entrance wardrobe continues into the kitchen composition. Light fronts, a timber worktop and stone splashback create one material line.
Everyday benefit
Belongings and appliances have their place while the route from the door to the window stays open.
Living room and bathroom
A texture that holds
the shared room.
The living room and bathroom work at different scales but share the same restrained palette.
Design response
In the living room, a stone-textured feature wall sits beside soft seating and the media composition. In the bathroom, timber, mirror and light tile continue the apartment’s warmth.
Everyday benefit
The expressive detail has enough air around it and never becomes visual noise.
Bedroom and child’s room
Quiet for rest.
Room for a child.
The private rooms have different tempos: the bedroom supports restoration, while the child’s room holds sleep, study and play.
Design response
The bedroom pairs a stone-textured headboard wall with soft light and fitted wardrobe storage. In the child’s room, bed, shelves, desk and wardrobe form a compact system by the window.
Everyday benefit
Each room receives enough storage and its own atmosphere without an excess of furniture.
Storage and daily route
Order begins
at the entrance.
In this apartment, the compact area needs to work without objects interrupting the circulation.
Design response
The fitted kitchen, wardrobes, media unit, tall cabinet, island and children’s-room furniture are built into precise compositions. Furniture, lighting, socket plans and elevations support one route from the entrance to the private rooms.
Everyday benefit
Belongings have their place, while furniture and light keep movement between the rooms clear.
Project scope
From concept to working drawings.
Careful replanning, bespoke furniture and clear zoning bring the shared and private rooms together as a coherent interior.
