Three-storey house

Room for everyday life.
Comfort in the details.

The brief

This completed home in Briukhovychi brings together shared spaces, separate rooms for work and rest, and integrated storage across three floors. Warm textures and restrained colours shape the interior. Installed automation connects lighting, climate and security with everyday routines.

Shared spaces

A place to gather.
A change of atmosphere.

The kitchen, dining area and living room need to feel connected while supporting different activities. Worktops need focused light, the dining table its own accent and the lounge a softer background.

The design response

The island, dining furniture and seating define distinct areas. Timber, pale stone textures and terracotta accents connect them. Built-in cabinetry organises storage, while pendants and local lighting highlight the places used most often.

Everyday benefit

Cooking, conversation and relaxation each have their own setting, with lighting chosen to suit the activity.

Personal comfort

Each room.
Its own rhythm.

A bedroom and a study call for different atmospheres. The design challenge is to give each its own character while keeping the house visually coherent.

The design response

Pale surfaces and a soft headboard in the bedroom are complemented by local lighting. Darker cabinetry, a desk and open shelves give the study a separate setting for concentration. Storage forms part of each room’s composition.

Everyday benefit

Work has a dedicated place outside the bedroom. Comfort settings can follow the way each zone is used.

Night lighting

A clear route
after dark.

Moving between rooms is part of everyday life in a three-storey home. At night, the route should be visible without switching on bright general lighting throughout the space.

The design response

The stairs and entrance continue the house’s material palette. Light defines surfaces and makes the space easier to read. Route lighting is separate from general lighting and follows its own scene.

Everyday benefit

A short night-time journey can use gentle illumination, with full brightness available when needed.

Peace of mind

Fewer checks
before leaving.

Leaving a large house can mean checking lights, access points and building systems. Shared control logic simplifies these actions and clearly identifies anything needing attention.

The design response

The Away scene coordinates the home: selected lights switch off, heating follows an agreed setting and access states are checked. Arming the alarm requires an explicit user command and confirmation from the security system.

Everyday benefit

The user receives a clear view of the home’s state. Alarms and faults are distinguished from routine information.

Outdoor living

The evening continues
on the terrace.

The grounds should remain comfortable after sunset. Lighting supports circulation and relaxation, while irrigation needs to respond to conditions on the site.

The design response

The terrace, pool area and planting create different places to spend time. Evening lighting accents along paths and vertical surfaces continue the atmosphere of the house.

Everyday benefit

Outdoor spaces can support a walk to the entrance, time by the pool or an evening on the terrace.

The result

A coherent interior.
Intuitive control.

The completed 398 m² interior combines shared spaces, private rooms and bespoke furniture. Lighting, heating, curtains and protection systems work through everyday scenes. The terrace and landscaped grounds extend the living space, while automation simplifies control of the home.
