A flower market.
Distinctive at first sight.
The album presents the interior design project for the Troyanda flower wholesale and retail market in Vinnytsia. The space is organised around an open florist area, a cashier counter and a consultation workstation.
Florist area
Plants become
part of the architecture.
The main retail area needs to display plants, keep circulation clear and work as a recognisable image for the shop.
Design response
Metal shelving with open shelves is arranged around the perimeter and at the centre. Symmetry, circular openings and a red vertical plane create a strong spatial centre.
Everyday benefit
Plants remain visible from different viewpoints, while the route between shelves and the counter stays clear.
Counter and brand
A counter
you cannot miss.
The counter needs to be both a working station and the main expression of the shop identity.
Design response
The counter is designed as a separate furniture volume with a white top, the TROyANDA flowers logo and red contour LED lighting along the base. A dark background and light counter strengthen the brand contrast.
Everyday benefit
The service point is easy to read, while the illuminated plinth makes the volume feel lighter and adds an evening accent.
Materials and work
A deep background.
A vivid accent.
The project calls for a contrasting yet composed interior that does not compete with the flowers while supporting the character of the brand.
Design response
The palette combines dark grey surfaces, a red painted plane, light engineered stone, melamine board and metal structures. The workstation adds a desk, chair and shelving for plants and packaging.
Everyday benefit
The neutral background lets the plants lead, while red details keep the identity recognisable throughout the shop.
Lighting and customer route
Light supports
the shop journey.
In a flower shop, light needs to reveal the plants, guide customers to the counter and keep the florist workstations comfortable.
Design response
Lighting, fixture and switching plans are tied to the open shelving, central display and cashier counter. The lighting works in layers, keeping the retail floor expressive while retaining clear light at the work surfaces.
Everyday benefit
Customers understand the space quickly, while the team has practical light for consultation, packing and everyday work.
Project scope
From concept to working drawings.
A clearly organised counter, considered storage and coordinated lighting give the florist a distinctive, functional retail space.
