Together in the living room.
Room to be apart.

After re-planning, the kitchen and living area take up almost half the apartment. An island marks the kitchen edge, while the bedroom and child’s room have their own doors. Light walls and timber keep the interior open; deep-blue accents recur in the kitchen, furniture and bathroom.

Living room

Room to talk
and unwind.

The lounge opens onto the kitchen but has a centre of its own.

Design response

Sofas and an armchair face a media wall with open shelves. Dark upholstery, light walls and blue artwork add contrast; dedicated light by the media wall changes the mood in the evening.

Everyday benefit

The room supports a film or a conversation without closing itself off from the kitchen.

Kitchen and island

The island connects
kitchen and lounge.

The kitchen belongs to the 34.6 m² open shared room.

Design response

Timber lower fronts meet deep-blue upper cabinetry. The island adds worktop space and seating; the electrical plan places a switch directly in the island.

Everyday benefit

There is no hard boundary between cooking and conversation. The work area and a place for a quick breakfast sit close together.

Bedroom

A light bedroom
with storage in its place.

The separate 16.1 m² bedroom is apart from the busy shared room.

Design response

An upholstered bed faces a darker media wall. Full-height wardrobes bring storage into one line, while bedside lamps put useful light close to the bed.

Everyday benefit

The room does not need separate chests in its circulation space, leaving more room to move and rest.

Private corner

A small private corner
within the bedroom.

The bedroom renders show a compact table and an upholstered chair.

Design response

A mirror-topped table occupies a narrow wall section, while a dark chair sits near plants and a local light. Neither blocks the route around the bed.

Everyday benefit

There is a place to read or get ready without leaving the private room.

Child’s room: study and storage

A desk
beside the window.

In the 14.4 m² child’s room, the desk and storage run along the walls.

Design response

A long worktop sits by the window, with wardrobes and open shelving on the adjoining wall. The electrical plan provides points for lighting beneath the desk and vertical lighting, so the work area is coordinated with its illumination.

Everyday benefit

The centre stays clear, and books and study materials have a place close to the desk.

Child’s room: rest

A separate place
to sleep and rest.

Soft seating and a sleeping place occupy the other part of the child’s room.

Design response

A sofa bed sits opposite the desk. It has its own light and small table, while blue artwork echoes the living-room accent.

Everyday benefit

Study and rest have distinct places within one room.

Bathroom

A bathroom
with room for daily tasks.

After re-planning, the 6.8 m² bathroom combines several daily functions.

Design response

A glass screen separates the shower. The basin sits on a floating timber vanity, while the washer and dryer are built into a tall section. Blue tile contrasts with the light marble-patterned surfaces.

Everyday benefit

Storage, laundry and morning routines have their own place rather than spreading into the bedroom or kitchen.

Project scope

From concept to working drawings.

The kitchen-living room gathers the family, the bedroom provides privacy, and the child’s room has separate places for study and rest. Lighting is planned with the furniture: shelf, desk and media-wall illumination could support future scene control if the owner chooses to add it.
