## Room to gather. Room to withdraw.

The kitchen, dining area and living room share the ground floor, each with its own character. Upstairs are the bedrooms, study and bathroom. Dark timber, stone textures and expressive lighting carry a consistent material language through both levels.

Entry hall

## An entrance that sets the tone for the home.

The entry hall combines daily storage with the route into the shared rooms.

### Design response

Full-height timber cabinets keep coats and shoes out of sight. A console, mirror and upholstered seat provide useful stopping points without narrowing the passage.

### Everyday benefit

Visitors meet the character of the interior immediately, while daily essentials have their own place.

Timber surfaces guide the route from the entrance into the home.

Console and decorative composition near the entrance

The console provides a place for small essentials and a first visual accent.

Dark fitted wardrobes in the entrance

Full-height wardrobes conceal everyday storage.

Mirror, panels and doors in the entrance area

The mirror and wall panels bring the entry together.

Kitchen and dining

## A kitchen open to shared life.

The kitchen and dining area adjoin the living room on the ground floor.

### Design response

Tall cabinetry brings appliances and storage together, while a long worktop leaves room to prepare meals. The dining table sits at the transition to the living room; pendants and shelf lighting distinguish it from the work area.

### Everyday benefit

Cooking, serving and conversation stay connected without partitions.

Kitchen with tall dark cabinetry and worktop

Appliances and storage form a continuous fitted wall.

Kitchen worktop with dark fronts and local lighting

The worktop has dedicated light for everyday tasks.

A pendant marks the place for meals together.

Living room

## A living room for conversation and rest.

The generous living room continues the kitchen and dining area but has a centre of its own.

### Design response

Sofas and armchairs gather around a low table and media wall. Fitted shelving and illuminated display niches add depth and make room for books and meaningful objects.

### Everyday benefit

The same space works for a quiet evening or a gathering without rearranging the furniture.

Furniture, rather than walls, defines the lounge.

The seating layout supports conversation as well as media viewing.

Media wall and fitted shelving in the living room

Shelves make room for books and decorative objects.

Living room with large window and illuminated shelves

Daylight and shelf lighting change the room’s atmosphere.

Stairs and hallway

## The route upstairs has a presence of its own.

The staircase links the busy ground floor with the private upper level.

### Design response

Light timber treads stand out against dark walls. A tall window opens the route to an outdoor view, while the upper hall continues the timber and decorative details seen below.

### Everyday benefit

Moving between rooms becomes part of the experience of the home, not just a passage.

Timber staircase against a dark wall

The contrast gives the staircase a distinct presence.

Staircase beside a tall window overlooking the garden

The window brings daylight into the stairwell.

Upper-floor hall with pendant light

The upper hall continues the darker ground-floor palette.

Upper hallway with decorative wall and chair

A small seat creates a pause between private rooms.

Main bedroom

## A private bedroom with its own pace.

The main bedroom is upstairs, away from the shared rooms.

### Design response

The bed, bedside units and decorative wall form one composition. A soft seat by the window, local lighting and a separate media wall offer different ways to use the room without crowding it.

### Everyday benefit

There is room to sleep and unwind, with the right light close at hand.

The bed and decorative wall anchor the room.

Wide main-bedroom view with upholstered seat

Furniture and circulation leave the centre of the room clear.

Guest bedroom

## A guest room with its own character.

A second bedroom sits on the private floor.

### Design response

A dark headboard and expressive round mirror provide the focal point. Bedside lights, cabinets and a media wall continue the house palette without copying the main bedroom.

### Everyday benefit

Guests have a complete room for rest, with their own lighting and storage.

Bathroom

## A bathroom for different daily rhythms.

The upper-floor bathroom brings together a bath, shower and double vanity.

### Design response

The freestanding bath sits by the window, while two basins allow for parallel morning routines. A dark shower surface contrasts with lighter counters; mirrors, shelving and local lighting resolve the everyday details.

### Everyday benefit

Each function has its own place and light rather than competing for one corner of the room.

Bathroom with double vanity and bathtub

The double vanity gives two people their own space.

Mirrors and counter with two basins

Illuminated mirrors define the morning routine.

Dark shower area in the bathroom

The finish sets the shower apart from the lighter zones.

The bath occupies a quieter part of the room beside the window.

Home study

## A study for focus and a change of pace.

There is a separate room for work on the upper floor.

### Design response

The desk and open bookcases occupy one part of the room. Opposite are soft seating and a media wall; illuminated shelving and local light help shift between tasks without leaving the space.

### Everyday benefit

It supports concentrated work, reading and conversation within a room of its own.

The work area and book storage sit alongside a lounge.

Study workspace with bookcase

Open shelves keep reference material within reach.

Soft seating in the home study

An armchair and daybed offer a change of pace.

Study media wall opposite the lounge area

The media wall is integrated into the work-and-rest room.

Lighting

## Lighting designed around what you do.

The album contains lighting plans and separate switching diagrams for both floors.

### Design response

General lighting is supplemented by stair, shelf and mirror illumination and local fixtures at the bedside. Switches and electrical points follow the furniture plan. Separate lighting groups could support scene control if the owner later chooses to add automation.

### Everyday benefit

Task lighting and softer evening accents can be switched separately. If smart-home scenes are added later, the planned lighting groups provide a starting point.

Local lighting at the bathroom mirror and vanity

Light picks out the bathroom mirror and counter.

Bedside lamp in the guest bedroom

A separate bedside fixture supports evening reading.

Project scope

## From concept to working drawings.

The ground floor gathers kitchen, dining and living, while the upper floor is given to bedrooms, a study and bathroom. Fitted furniture, material contrasts and layered lighting tie the home together without giving every room the same mood.
