## A shared palette. Separate places for daily life.

Aurum gives family time and personal activities their own spaces. A corridor separates the kitchen and dining area from the bedroom and child's room. The main bathroom and utility room sit beside the private rooms; a guest bathroom is close to the kitchen. Blue cabinetry, framed fronts and light ceilings connect these different functions.

Layout

## Space to gather. Rooms of your own.

In a 77 m² apartment, everyday routes matter as much as furniture placement. A separate kitchen allows conversation and cooking without taking over the bedroom or child's room.

### Design response

The corridor connects seven functional areas: kitchen, bedroom, child's room, two bathrooms, utility room and entrance hall. Storage and household appliances have defined positions, with door swings coordinated around the furniture.

### Everyday benefit

Each room keeps its purpose. Laundry and storage do not need to occupy the middle of a living space, and bedrooms can be reached without crossing the kitchen.

Kitchen and dining

## A kitchen worth staying in.

The 17 m² kitchen has space for preparing food and unhurried conversation. Upholstered dining seating gives it some of the comfort of a small sitting room.

### Design response

The corner kitchen combines tall cabinets, integrated appliances and a timber worktop. Open shelves break up the run of fronts, while patterned tiles add detail around the work area. A table, chairs and sofa sit by the window; pendants define the dining area.

### Everyday benefit

The worktop retains useful preparation space, with most storage arranged around the perimeter. The table is a place for breakfast, a conversation after work or company for the person cooking.

Open shelves, plants and window light soften the deep palette.

Bedroom

## A blue backdrop for a quiet evening.

The 22 m² bedroom combines sleep with personal activities. Light walls, ceiling and textiles balance its deeper accents.

### Design response

A large decorative composition sits above the headboard, with concealed light marking the upper wall. Blue wardrobes with long handles form a continuous surface. An armchair and desk occupy the window side of the room.

### Everyday benefit

A dedicated wardrobe keeps clothing storage together, leaving the bed area free of additional chests. Reading or a short work session does not require a move to another room.

The wardrobe reads as part of the wall rather than a separate item.

Library and desk

## Books close by. A desk near daylight.

Bedroom storage includes more than clothing. Books, media and personal objects need shelves of different sizes and easy access.

### Design response

White open shelving frames a blue media unit. Lower closed sections hide smaller items; a desk and chair sit near the window. Bespoke furniture drawings coordinate these pieces as a composition.

### Everyday benefit

Books and work materials stay within reach. Storage uses the height of the wall instead of taking more floor space.

Child's room

## A room with character and space for belongings.

The 16 m² child's room has a mood of its own. Botanical wallpaper and a soft headboard distinguish it from the adult bedroom while retaining the shared blue palette.

### Design response

The bed sits against an accent wall and a blue wardrobe uses the available height. Open shelves and low book storage complement the closed cabinets. A geometric rug brings the furniture together.

### Everyday benefit

Clothing, books and personal objects have different storage places. The area beside the bed stays open without filling the room with separate cabinets.

Study and reading

## A desk of their own by the window.

Study and rest happen close together in the child's room. The desk needs light, access to books and a clear surface for everyday activities.

### Design response

The desk sits by the window beside open shelves. Low book sections continue the composition near the bed, with seating that allows a change of activity without rearranging the room.

### Everyday benefit

The work surface stays out of the route through the room. Books and study materials are on the adjoining shelves, with a place to read or rest after lessons.

Entrance and storage

## An easy return at the end of the day.

The entrance hall connects every room. Its furniture needs to support daily routines without turning the route through the apartment into a storage area.

### Design response

Blue panels and doors sit alongside a chest, round mirror and built-in seat. Open surfaces hold frequently used items; closed sections store the rest. Artwork and warm textures make the corridor feel connected to the living rooms.

### Everyday benefit

There is a place to put keys, check the mirror and sit to change shoes. These everyday tasks do not need extra furniture standing in the passage.

Main bathroom

## Dark tiles beside warm textures.

The compact main bathroom accommodates a shower, basin and toilet. Material contrasts distinguish the functions without unnecessary partitions.

### Design response

A dark shower surface sits beside timber-look finishes and a wooden vanity. A glass screen separates the shower from the basin; a large mirror and light ceiling keep the room visually open. Water and drainage positions follow the sanitary layout.

### Everyday benefit

Each fixture has a defined place, with closed storage beside the basin. Glass separates the wet area while keeping the room visually connected.

Guest bathroom

## A small room with its own detail.

The second bathroom sits near the kitchen and the shared route through the apartment. Patterned tiles, dark surfaces and timber give it a distinct character.

### Design response

Wall-hung fixtures sit alongside a large mirror and narrow open shelves. Graphic tiles cover the lower walls, while shelf lighting defines vertical storage.

### Everyday benefit

Guests do not need to use the main bathroom beside the bedrooms. Shelves provide space for essentials without occupying the narrow passage.

Lighting and daily routines

## Lighting for work and rest.

Cooking, reading and resting need different light. General lighting is complemented by local sources, with household equipment given specific connection points.

### Design response

The lighting plan separates ceiling groups, pendants and furniture lighting; controls are positioned near entrances and beds. Socket locations follow kitchen appliances, desks and laundry equipment in the utility room.

### Everyday benefit

Local sources allow light to match the activity. Coordinating sockets with furniture helps avoid trailing extensions across circulation routes.

Automation potential

## Useful controls without unnecessary features.

Separate lighting groups, wet areas and distinct rooms provide a basis for further engineering design. Smart routines should follow the family's habits.

### Design response

Possible additions include dinner and reading scenes, night lighting in the corridor, heating zones and coordinated climate and ventilation controls. Motorised curtains, entrance monitoring and leak alerts near the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry could also be considered. These potential additions require a separate engineering design.

### Everyday benefit

Agreeing these routines early helps define wiring and control locations before finishes. The owner can keep only the functions that make daily life easier.

Project scope

## An apartment where the details work together.

Aurum combines layout, materials, bespoke furniture, lighting and household connections. Blue links the separate rooms, while a sociable kitchen, bedroom library, child's room and utility space give daily activities their own places.

## About this project

What connects the Aurum rooms?

Deep blue repeats across kitchen fronts, wardrobes, doors and panels. Light ceilings, warm textures and open shelving balance it, giving the rooms a shared palette with different moods.

How was the apartment area calculated?

77 m² is the rounded sum of seven room areas in the floor-finish schedule. It covers the kitchen, bedroom, child's room, corridor, two bathrooms and utility room.

Where are the work and study areas?

The bedroom has a desk near the window beside the library. The child's room has a separate window-side desk with shelving and book storage.

Why does the apartment have two bathrooms?

The main bathroom with a shower sits near the private rooms. The guest bathroom adjoins the kitchen, providing more convenient routes for the shared and private parts of the home.

What does the technical design coordinate?

The plans coordinate lighting groups, switches, sockets, kitchen and laundry appliances, water and drainage with furniture and sanitary fixtures. Potential smart-home routines are described separately and are not presented as installed equipment.
