## A flower shop with room to linger.

The design places flowers and greenery against a dark backdrop. Slender shelves and planted islands define the displays, while small tables and a sofa provide places to sit. The branded botanical wall gives Dolce Flower a clear identity. Supporting rooms keep internal work separate from the customer-facing floor.

Brand and photo area

## A recognisable arrival scene.

Dolce Flower in Lviv combines flower displays with places for visitors to sit. A branded wall gives the interior a clear visual reference.

### Design response

Large botanical graphics, the Dolce Flower lettering and an illuminated outline frame a small sofa. Turquoise cushions repeat the wall colour, and plants on either side connect the photo area to the retail displays.

### For customers and the shop

Visitors can immediately see the shop name and a place to pause. The branded wall provides a recognisable photo backdrop within the interior.

Checkout

## A counter for service and display.

A flower shop needs a checkout that is easy to find and leaves room for a conversation with the customer.

### Design response

A dark counter with an illuminated plinth sits beside the branded area. Flowers and packaging line its customer-facing side, while shelving behind it continues the display. Glass pendants mark this part of the room.

### For customers and the shop

Visitors have a clear place to ask for assistance. The counter follows the display layout and colour palette, keeping the service point connected to the room.

Plant islands

## Plants at the centre of the customer route.

Customers need to see the range from different angles and approach individual plants.

### Design response

Angular dark islands display plants at several heights. Taller plants rise above smaller arrangements on the lower surfaces. The islands complement the perimeter shelves and leave routes around the displays.

### For customers and the shop

The different heights make arrangements easier to see. Open sides let customers browse the plants from several directions.

Shelving and decor

## A slender framework for varied displays.

Flowers, vases and decorative objects vary in height and shape. Display furniture needs to keep them visible.

### Design response

Slender metal uprights form an open shelving grid. Large compartments alternate with smaller ones, and planting extends beyond the frame. Dark backdrops combine with light metal lines and mirrored details.

### For customers and the shop

The shelves accommodate product groups of different sizes. Open frames preserve views between displays, and reflections add depth to the retail space.

Visitor seating

## A place to talk among the plants.

Choosing flowers or an arrangement can take time and conversation. The room includes places for that.

### Design response

Small round tables and upholstered chairs sit between planting and open shelves. Light upholstery and turquoise details make the seating visible against the dark backdrop. Large planters distinguish these places from the main aisle.

### For customers and the shop

Visitors can sit down to discuss their choice or wait. The seating remains connected to the displays, keeping plants in view during the conversation.

Light and palette

## Light brings flowers forward against a dark backdrop.

A dark palette brings out the greenery and calls for several layers of light around products and visitor seating.

### Design response

Ceiling panels are complemented by spherical pendants above tables and compact spotlights. Lighting at furniture bases outlines the islands. Turquoise surfaces by the windows and green accents connect the lighting to the botanical theme.

### For customers and the shop

The eye moves between flowers, shelves and seating. Lighting defines the different areas, while the dark backdrop keeps plants prominent.

Planning and storage

## A retail room with supporting spaces.

The project covers 148 m². The layout accounts for display, customer service and back-of-house work.

### Design response

The retail area combines perimeter shelving with freestanding islands. A photo area has its own position beside the angled wall. Outside the main display, the plan allocates an office and two cold-storage rooms connected to the service area.

### For customers and the shop

Visitors see the flowers and clear service points. Separate supporting rooms allow storage and internal work to be planned without placing every function on the retail floor.

Lighting scenes

## A starting point for opening and evening scenes.

General lighting, pendants and decorative light serve different purposes. They can be considered as separate control groups.

### Design response

A recommended extension is to develop scenes for opening, customer service and closing. An evening setting could retain accents on the branded wall and displays. Implementation requires checking the compatibility of fittings, drivers and electrical circuits.

### For customers and the shop

With compatible equipment, staff could select the required groups through one scene. This control approach requires separate equipment selection and commissioning.

Climate and monitoring

## Different needs for retail and flower storage.

The retail floor and cold-storage rooms serve different purposes. Climate decisions need coordination with the equipment in each area.

### Design response

Further engineering could consider temperature monitoring for the cold rooms and heating and climate schedules for the retail floor. Access control can be assessed for the entrance and service areas. Leak monitoring is relevant near actual plumbing connections, which need to be identified separately.

### For customers and the shop

These scenarios could help staff monitor storage and prepare the premises for opening. The system scope should follow the shop’s actual equipment and routine.

Project scope

## Display and service within one interior.

The design combines the retail layout, flower display islands, open shelves, checkout and visitor seating. Botanical graphics and lighting connect the customer areas. The plan also allocates an office and two cold-storage rooms so the service spaces have their own place within the shop.

## About this project

What does the 148 m² area include?

The total covers the retail and supporting spaces, including the office, cold-storage block and entrance areas. It is not just the flower display floor.

How does the layout support browsing?

Perimeter shelving and freestanding islands present the range at different heights. Routes around the displays let customers approach the plants, while tables and a sofa provide places to pause.

What gives Dolce Flower its identity?

The botanical wall, branded lettering and turquoise accents connect the photo area to the flower displays. Dark furniture makes the greenery prominent, and slender shelving keeps views open.

Can the lighting and climate be automated?

Lighting scenes and temperature monitoring are possible extensions. Their implementation requires compatible equipment and separate engineering design; they are not presented as installed systems.
